Spectromancer Installation Instructions
- Go to www.spectromancer.com and click on “Download Spectromancer Free Beta”.
- When prompted, select a location where you wish to save the download. The location you choose will not directly impact where the game itself will be installed. You are just choosing a location to save the setup file. This file is called “Spectromancer.msi”
- Once the file is downloaded, run the file called “Spectromancer.msi” by double clicking on it.
- On the Welcome to the Spectromancer Setup Wizard dialogue box, press “Next”.
- You will be prompted for a location you wish to install the file. Whichever directory you choose will be the directory the game files will reside. For the Beta, we suggest you keep the default, which is “C:\Program files\Hidden City Games\Spectromancer\”. Once you’ve chosen a directory, whether it’s the default or a new one, press “Next”.
- On the “Ready To Install” screen, press “Install” when you are ready to install Spectromancer. The install will take a couple of minutes.
- When the install is complete, you’ll need to press the “Finish” button to exit the installer.
- Once installed, you can play Spectromancer by double-clicking on “Launcher.exe” that appears on your desktop OR you can run Spectromancer by going to Start – All Programs – Spectromancer and then double-clicking on “Launcher.exe”.
