since it seems Cooler is completely tied up with work on Astral Heroes
...This game did not develop for a long time. And in general, the success of this seems questionable. However, there will be 1 update, as well as the output of the game on one of the mobile platforms.
Btw, i don't know if it has been discussed before, but i simply can not understand that Spectromaneris not a much, much more popular game. It is one of the best designed games i haver played. Why aren't there tons of players from the MTG community not here, for example?
Besides, it would really be great if cooler would email all theformer top players and have them join: Imagine a tournament where Plynx, Grim Joker, Jeronimo, Beehive, SeaLeta, Clever,Forestry, Wavelength and all the other 'big' names would participate. That would be great.

...The game didn't have the kind of hook that popular games like MTG and Hearthstone have where it addicts you to collecting things. I think it's a genuinely more cerebral game than most CCGs, and a lot of new players were turned off when it first came out and had some big news coverage because they didn't "get" it. They were expecting to collect cards and build decks. Add to that the fact that the game obviously never had any significant marketing budget and it was always destined to remain a niche game. It's a shame because I agree it deserves to be more widely known. I still hold out hope for a Spectromancer 2 someday.
