Time 8 but no control 8, even though they are basically the same?Yeah, only special
...Time 8 ignores a round of combat (it has haste and allows a second card to be played, which means the opponents do not get a prior attack unlike with the giant), unlike Control 8 which doesn't, which I think is a big difference that tips it over the edge.
...You forget that control 8 has better stats, and making opponent skip turn basically allows all your creatures to perform additional attack (not to mention generators, air 5, fire 11, etc)
...But Time 8 allows you to get in an additional creature before the next round! They are similar, but I think Time 8 is the stronger one just because of how the timings function. They are similar in some regards, but I tend to find while you can counter Control 8 with better presence, you cannot counter Time 8 in the same way.The stats aren't that far apart, I wouldn't consider them too relevant.I will admit though that I find both on the strong end.
...Thats why time 8 is better in defence, and control 8 is better in attackBoth can be countered in similiar mannerImhoP.S. Grim, what is so overpowered about cult 3
Dkill, sorcery 5 is too hot-and-cold to be generally op.
Time 5 overpowered?)) Probably the lest used card in the whole class...
Dkill, sorcery 5 is too hot-and-cold to be generally op. And blood 5 was nerfed
...Sorcery 5 is as good as Time 4. Just like Storing Time mana for back to back Time 4, Sorcerer can do the same. Once you get board presence, after The most damageable spell from opponent, Mostly Stone rain or Fire 11, You can get all your creatures at full health and reserve your board presence before even opponent can restore it.Here, note that Archangel have same effect but its cost 8. The Sorc 5 can be used again in next fifth turn, leaving no hope of victory for opponent. The Worst case scenario: 2 or more E3 And/Or Hydra + Sorc 5 + Anything + Anything + Sorc 5 !! Game ends unless opponent have some better power to finish E3s off.
...yet unlike time 4 you need to get your creatures in injured state, and tim moment so that opponent wont finish them off first (clever players wont just harm your elementals if a threat of ritual is presented).. A lot depends here on opponents actions, thats why time stop is more reliable and effective, overallArchangel is rarely used card
...I actually use Archangel a lot; it can often stealthily win games if you have presence on the board; the body it comes with is really good, and you can ramp into it with Monks.Archangel is easily one of my favourite cleric cards. I would say however that Sorcery 5 is Archangel minus the body plus a damage burst. I feel like it's almost fair, but gets absurd when area creatures comes into play. I think Sorc 5 just needs the value of the attack raising to be reduced to 2 and I think that'd make it better.
...If you ask me, beast1 is way more ridiculous then any of the other two mentioned, they need much more preparation.
...QFT.I never found Archangel to be OP, Sorcery-5 on the other hand often gives trouble because of its way more spammability(is that a word ? :P ) .

I'm quite surprised u rate Time 2 as overpowered, I believe and guess it's that related to its cost? It acts as a sort of Forest6, but personally I don't think it's that much overpowered, I'd rate control 2 more powerful in that manner as it may really makes some battle impossible for some classes.
Btw (off-topic) we were told of some "fixes or little changes", any news on that?

...I don't get how it acts as a sort of forest6 at all, can you explain this?
I meant Earth6 of course, sorry for the misunderstanding.
Tx Grim, agree just wanted to discuss a bit about that. Still I see some Others more Op that T2.
Btw .. sei sempre er meglio!!! :) :) :)
Time2 is a sort of ill3 with a strong board presence, with the important difference that the opponent can play around ill3, but not around time2. A special card with cost 2 which can do also 20+ direct damages and it's not a spell...well, yes i think timeblazer is an op card ,in my opinion control2 is the essence of the class, just don't make plans in the long run, but play the best you have in hand. Forest6 has no sense because forest class has the rabbit plus on the board, so all of forest cards are weaker than other special cards.
...Not to mention combo with time 6...3 is probably the only forest card decent for its level
