" if no Generators" Impossible. If you mean you havent got earth 5... well, bad luck then I guess

It's uncommon, but not super-rare, to get two "One Percent" consecutive cards in the same draw. E11/E12 is one example. A5/A6, F10/F11, and E1/E2 are some other examples.
In general, if you're getting two really high cards next to one another like E11/E12, think of it as an opportunity to be flexible about which one you want to use in your strategy. You can choose E11 OR E12. But you're most likely not going to be able to use both in the same game.

Hey, Ruby! Thanks for thinking of me! You're right, I do love testing things out But there are lots of others here who are much better at answering these kinds of questions than I am, but I am more than happy to join in! Seems there is nothing really to "test", you've just witnessed an awesome string of lucky sightings! You should set out in search of Bigfoot or the Loch Ness Monster! With your luck you could become famous, lol! But really, all that has happened is an amazing bout of reoccurring 1% Rulers. The 1% Rule, if you are unfamiliar with it, states that "if you have a certain card of a certain cost, the odds of you having the card in that same house of one cost more or one cost less is 1%" or something like that. So like, if you have Water 4, the odds of you also having Water 3 or Water 5 is about 1%. You just ran into a bizarrely large amount of 1%'ers in a small amount of games by the sound of it. Which is kinda cool! As for the situation with both Earth 11 and 12, well... It's like Wave said, it does leave you in a place where you can be a little flexible with your strategy. Which is always a good thing. But if you know you're going for a specific strategy with your class and have the hand to support it, you could benefit from one more than the other, just depends on your situation. If you want to go for both... With no Elf Hermit, it will be very, very difficult, like Sinist pointed out. But it could be done. I have seen games with multiple E11 and E12s in play. Best chances of doing this will be with Water 11, Holy 5, Spirit 5, Sorcery 4, or Worship 6. These cards will give you the mana boost you need to reach high cost creatures and possibly gain access to both E11 and E12. But I wouldn't suggest trying to base your whole strategy around summoning them both, best to chose one and go with it, or keep your options open for a little while and see what happens. Hope this helps a little! Modified by Valentyne on 2014-11-17 04:22:06 Sinist | 2014-11-17 08:41:15 |
Actually E11-12 is not good combo to begin with. F11-12 leaves much more opportunities for surprise attack

E11-E12 is actually a really, really good grab, although for a reason you might not expect.
Hydra is often hampered by Master Healer. If you have the card, you know the opponent doesn't have it. This means you can be sure to play Hydra and it'll generate value over time.
Yes you can only pick one or the other, but the fact your opponent doesn't have the other means that playing either is a safe play.
This means you can be sure to play Hydra and it'll generate value over time.
...unless your opponent has A10 of course

That's a pretty common exception, but yes, you have to be aware of A10. :-P

You can say the same thing about air 3-4, water 11-12, etc.
